At the time I ordered the item I told him I didnt care about soft cover or hard. (I lied, don't we all prefer hard?) And a price was settled upon. The discount at the used book store? 25% off cover price... I assumed for such a small discount I would recieve a lightly worn copy of the book I purchased, and was told it should be in in about a week.

While the selection is small, there is a number of books I hadn't seen in some time (Jack Mckinney's Robotech 7,8, and 9, A hardback Asimov edited anthology, ect.) I picked up the Anthology and ordered the book I had come searching for since they didnt have it in stock.
So what should you expect when you go? Based on my 2 encounters recently and my recall of my interactions before i moved back, here are the things you should consider:
I have visited many small town book stores and this one feels very similar. The only thing that left me a little miffed was the shoddy condition of the book that was ordered in for me and the way it appeared only I had noticed the poor quality.
Just moved back to my home town and I sought out a local Book store to give my business. I recalled a small bookstore down town and headed there to check it out and see if they hade a copy of a book I had been wanting to read for some time.
