Went in to buy dog food and the bags were covered in rat excrement also the labels on the canned food were unreadable because they had been chewed off. I brought this to the attention of the staff and they spoke down to me saying this was completely normal and they clean it off once a week. Will not be returning.
I bought a recommended product (chemical) by the store's knowledgeable staff. Once at home, I discovered that the product was not to be used as intended as per the manufacturer's recommendations (indoors), I called for information about their returns policy. I was transferred six times to six different people, including the manager at the time. The manager had transferred me without talking to me. I learned this by the fifth person that informed me that the manager had transferred me to her line without knowing the reason of my call. No one cared to let the next person know the reason for my call. After holdingfor 30 minutes on the phone and without getting any answer to my question I headed back to the store to request a refund for the wrong(unopened) product. The result? OMG!
I WILL NEVER STOP BY ANY ATWOODS or Recommend it ever AT ALL. One will get better results from an online service that one will get from real people. Atwoods doesn't respect its customers.
If you don't know already, Atwood's is like a "big box store for rednecks". It should fit in well in this part of the country and with me in fact. The Sand Springs store has never had any staff who knew anything or acted like they care but that's almost standard today.
I had something happen yesterday, however, which really amazed me. I went into this store and told the girl I wanted 300 pounds of whole corn. She had a worker bring it to the front and I loaded the six bags into my truck. When I got home, I discovered that Atwood's is no longer packaging their feed in 50 pound bags but have changed to 40 pounders. Another way to have a price increase without the consumer noticing!
These people are so insufficient! All their boots were mixed up so i couldn't find the kind I wanted or sizes, I had to go to the front desk to ask the girl if they sold frs bc I couldn't find any, she had to call for somebody to come and help me bc she didn't know and nobody ever showed up. So I left. Half hr of my life I'll never get back!
They advertise Frontline for sale but never have it in stock.
This corn was in bright yellow Atwood bags so I assume that the decision to change packaging was made by their corporate office. Next time, I'm gonna pay attention to the packaging.
