I've been using this vets office since we got our dog almost 5 years ago. The customer service has gotten so bad this past year that I have stopped going here for any vet services whatsoever. First flag for me was the Vets are always changing....Their records are NEVER correct - I would get notices that my dog was due for shots - when in fact my dog had been in there just the month before and received her shots- this went on for several months (even after several phone calls) - that's just one small example. Their records didn't even include my dog spaying and chipped being done there yet thank goodness I still have my receipts! Ashley was EXTREMELY Rude - Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I've witnessed several others who are unhappy with the administrative side of this business. The Groomer is AWESOME - She does Great Work - However....do to the rudeness of their staff I will not allow any of them to touch any of my pets!
Took my German Shepherd here to be fixed, chipped, and get her rabies vac. she is not a public friendly dog and they were great with her. I've been back one other time and the experience was the same, I will say they are a little more costly than some other places I could of gone, but the service was top notch. The only place I go for my vet needs.
My puppy had been sick all weekend. I was scared I was going to lose her. I took her to see Dr Shipman and not only was she incredibly nice she and the staff took amazing care of Sophie. I was expecting an outrageous bill but they kept cost down and I get to pick Sophie up today. This will be my go to vet for Sophie. Thank you so much.
Unfortunately, the vet I used forever retired and I had to find a new vet. I had been to Hecht to have my Yellow Lab spayed and she passed away less than a week after due to an infection and of course they denied responsibility. That being said I wasn't going to trust any vet and so I did my research. I asked everyone I knew and no one had anything bad to say about McKinney and so I gave them a shot and so far I have not been disappointed.
Dr. Metcalf has been caring for my English Bulldog for a few months and was always great with him. He unfortunately got really sick and was hospitalized for an entire week with chronic kidney disease. Dr. Metcalf called me everyday, updated me on his condition, and answered all my endless questions. She even called me on her days off to check on him. We had to put him to sleep a few days after he came home. The staff was very kind and made the best out of a horrible situation.
